Genevieve Towne grew up in Davis, California and returned home after completing her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at UCLA. After working for 8 years at a scientific lab, in a family practice and cardiology clinic, and doing cardiac research, she had affirmed her passion for direct patient care and decided to pursue a career as a physician assistant (PA).
With her years of clinical and research experience, she decided to become a PA as an efficient path of becoming educated and licensed to diagnose and treat medical diseases. She graduated as Valedictorian of her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies and Masters of Public Health program at Touro University in Vallejo, California. She joins the practice with experience working as PA in the emergency department prior to becoming a dermatology PA.
She values the collaborative nature of being a dermatology PA at Dermatology Consultants of Sacramento - partnering with the physicians to diagnose and treat a diverse array of skin diseases. PA Towne is passionate about providing patient centered dermatologic care. In her spare time, Genevieve enjoys gardening, cooking, and camping with her husband and daughter.
