Dr. Tracy Love is a board-certified Dermatologist and Sacramento native who is excited to serve her hometown community.

Born and raised in Sacramento, she attended the University of California Davis where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior with high honors. After completing her undergraduate education, Dr. Love embarked on a 15-year career in the United States Army. Graduating from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland, she then completed her Dermatology residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Dr. Love’s time in the military gave her the opportunity to work with a wide array of patients with unique and challenging skin conditions. She is devoted to staying up-to-date on the latest advances in Dermatology, and Dr. Love’s work has been included in several publications including as a contributing co-author of a medical textbook on Dermatology.

After concluding her service in the Army as the Dermatology clinic chief at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York, Dr. Love returned to Sacramento in 2023 with her husband and two young children. When she is not in the office, Dr. Love enjoys staying active by running and engaging in outdoor adventures with her family. She is also an avid gardener and loves baking.

As a cancer survivor herself, Dr. Love is known for her patient-centered care, taking the time to listen to patients’ concerns and develop tailored treatment plans that meet their personal needs. Her patients appreciate her caring demeanor and holistic approach, considering not just her patients’ skin, but their overall health and wellbeing.
